Hi:wave:
Alan-I have a friend who's DDs were both so afraid that they had to leave Nemo too. Her daughters are 3 & 6. It can be a very scary experience for some kids.
Busy day for me today.........
I ran my errands this morning & now I'm gonna vaccuum & dust because my parents are coming over about 3:30ish. My Mom is the queen of the white glovers!! Gotta be spotless!
Then Meg has the final night of cheer tryouts for the high schoool next year starting at 6...keep a good thought for her...she's pretty nervous!
Matt's final band concert of the year is tonight too.......He'll be playing with the 8th grade concert band & with the jazz band.
Hopefully I'll be back later with good news about tryouts.......

Baboo....my thong size (both of them) is a 7. My ring size is a 7. My fur coat size is a large. My car size is a Maxima.

I just thought you might be more inclined to shoot for the stars....:teeth:

Alan....kids react differently to movies/rides/clowns/etc. Matt is frightened (actually petrified) of squirrels. But he'll ride the Hulk. So go figure.

I'm beat. I've finally finished spring cleaning. Now to the garden.....IF it ever stops raining around here.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me on Thursday. We have a miniature golf party (outdoors, of course) planned for Matt's birthday. I really don't want to do a rain date.....

Gina, I'm hoping you get dry weather for Thursday and I'm hoping for a dry weekend here. We have a big outdoor graduation party on Saturday.
It's been pouring here all DAY Long. (groan)

I wore size 7 shoe pre-pregnancy. After 3 kids, I now wear an 8.
Did that happen to anyone else??

I went up a half-size with each of my kids. Used to wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and now I wear an 8 or an 8 1/2. Good thing I didn't have a whole houseful. I'd be wearing boats on my feet.

Mrs. AlabamaAlan was very happy to go from a 6 1/2 Narrow to a 7 Narrow. They are easier to find.

My feet never changed size after I had our DS.

I wish I could say the same thing about my hips......:(

Well how else would you have carried him? It was for a reason. :p

HA! Well, ultimately my feet carried him and THEY didn't change size!

One of life's little nuisances. Or big nuisances depending on how big the hips get!!! :p

LOL.....I like the way you think Gina!!!!
I too have worn larger shoes...I'm now an 8.....after 2 pregnancies. I'm not sharing my hip size but that also increased!

Hope it's not still raining in Pittsburgh....there's a baseball game there tonight that us New Englander's are interested in!
Good luck and ~pd~ to both Meg and Matt tonight!

I think you'll be OK with your Matt's party on Thursday but my Matt's game may be washed out tomorrow night.
(gosh there are lot's of Matt's here!)

Hey Everyone,
Just a quick check in....I'm sure since I started the thong questions that I answered it....8....and yes my feet grew with each pregancy....and that is as much as I want to discuss!!!!

Been playing out in the dirt all day, front gardens are done, and the back is taking shape....looks like rain though, so not sure I'll get the mulching done this week......oh well....

My feet grew with pregnancy. I am a size 8.5. I thought I explained this befroe. Do I have to again?

Gail, It's 7:05, and it's still raining here in Pittsburgh. It hasn't quit ALL DAY!

I know......we're watching the rain delay coverage. They did show the players in the period uniforms - they're not so different from what they wear today!

Evening all! Been a little busy unpacking and the like. So I am taking a small break and cuddling the kitties and playing on my computer. I hope that soon I will be able to go through all the pictures and see which are good for posting.

In general, I had a great time... the weather was near perfect and it was just such a relaxing time. I highly recommend doing a "girls time out" if you ever can (and a guys time for all the men out there ;))

Hmmm... been a 7-7.5 for quite some time... no kids so who knows if it will ever change :teeth:

Evening Angels!

My shoe size went from a 8 1/2 to a 9 after my 2 kids were born. What a bummer to have to get all new shoes!

Gail - I guess the game was called off. This was a huge series as far as getting fans in the ballpark. Plus, there were a lot of activities planned. We all think that there is a black cloud hanging over the ballpark. Wish you could have come down to maybe go to a game. I hope it doesn't take them years to play each other again.

Lars - how did Meg do today? did she make the team? how was Matt's concert? You are probably still busy with that one.

My little feet grew from 7.5 in HS and a few years after to 8 and then about 5 years ago 8.5 Everything else grew, too!!!! Now trying to lose it is very hard.

Same old here, from now on it will be hot, it got to 106 I think today, there will be no rain, and the pool will be in use daily. I love coming homefrom work and getting in for an hour nap. My tan is already looking good.

Steph - I remember having gardens, flower and vegatable. It gives you a sense of accomplishment to see it all growing, doesn't it?

Alan, I think it is time we saw a picture of Mrs AlabamaAlan, petite as she must be, she is winning the smallest feet contest. I saw your post about tax on another thread. Is everything 9%? I thought we were bad at 7.75%. The worst thing I think is that you have to pay that much for sales tax on a car. When I lived in VA, we paid 4% for everything except perscriptions and cars. Scripts were tax free, cars were 2%. Out here, raw food is tax free, prepared food is 7.75 so sometimes we pay no tax at the grocery, and sometimes we do. And how they decide??? Bread, obviously a prepared food, is not taxed, sausage and biscits that are microwaveable are taxed. Hot dogs are not! Who came up with the logic?

Have a great evening all. Elaine, don't let the kitties walk on the keyboard.
