I won't be on the boards at all tonight. The Pirates are letting the employees and their families watch "The Rookie" on the JumboTron tonight. We are supposed to bring blankets to sit on the field, and they will have snacks/drinks for us. I hope my kids don't go running around the field during the movie. Should be lots of fun!

I may not be an alcoholic but I would enjoy a margarita!!! and after a long day like this I just might take that back rub!!!

We don't have any drive-ins around here anymore. I miss them & everytime I hear one of you guys mention going to the drive in I get soooo jealous. My children have never been to one. Who can I visit that has a drive in near them?????

Sorry to break into the fun for some not so good news.

My doctor today gave me a tentative diagnosis of Guillian-Barre syndrome. What is coming looks pretty gruesome. If I am not posting here for some time, you will know why. I get more definitive diagnostic testing done Monday. I could become completely paralyzed, and may be on a respirator since it is already effecting my breathing. This is SOOOO scary!!!

We have a six screen drive in about 18 miles from me. And right now it the perfect time to go in a convertible. As long as it's not monsooning.

Juan, I don't get this thing btween you and Yepod. But I will take a Stoli O and soda, with a lettle twist of lime.

SB, how fun, is LK going, too? She may be tired from here bumping exercize..............

I don't know much about that syndrome but I will find out all that I can about it.

It doesn't sound great, but you are strong. You'll get through this. We'll all be here for you. Don't get too scared until you've been back on Monday. Try to stay positive.

I too did some research and already PM'd Diane, but I just want to tell all of you that if I could get in a plane right now, I would go there. This kind of news makes me feel so helpless. I don't know what else do say except I am here, too. My mother suffered from this one time many years ago and came out fine. I can hope that Diane does the same.

Diane, I wsh I could be there. I have a patient right now who is recovering from Gullian Barre. It is scary. Not everyone gets completely paralyzed and usually recovery is good. Is there anyway that you could have your husband keep in contact with one of us so we could keep each other informed. We are all with you, in spirit if not in person.

On a positive note, Sarah DID get solo Drum Major. Woo Hoo. We are all excited and proud.

My thoughts and prayers are with you that you have a speedy recovery. Sometimes it's so hard to convey feelings on a computer screen but I think you know how we all feel right now. You know where your friends are whenever you need them.
