If she knew he was back there, and purposefully started driving to try and get him to fall out of the back, then she will be in major trouble.

Fearing for your own safety goes along way though. Who knows what the "domestic" issue was. Was it just words, argueing and she ran off because she was upset or was their violence involved? We will probably never know, but hopefully the police can find out the whole truth to it. Didn't it say somewhere that it was reported that she had no injuries?

Yeah, that is right. An arm in a cast would make it very hard to grab onto something to balance yourself. Forgot about the cast.

It's very sad. He was finally getting his life on track and he got hurt this year. Now this. Once they said he was on life support last night it didn't sound good.

Shortly before noon Wednesday, Henry's fiancée tried to drive off during a "domestic situation," only to have Henry jump into the bed of the truck, police said.

"The domestic situation continued between the operator and Mr. Henry," according to a police statement. Henry "came out of the back of the vehicle" about half a mile from the house, it said.

I love Twitter ... but last night, it was very confusing. There were people tweeting and re-tweeting that he was already dead, which prompted people to tweet that he wasn't ... it was strange and sad.

But did she even know he was back there? I would think so, but you never know.

I have ridden in the back of a pick up truck many, many times and have managed not to fall out, even when the truck was going fast and/or turning corners. Makes me wonder what he was doing back there. Was he standing? Trying to get into the cab? If she was in fear for her safety and he was aggressively trying to get into the cab, then I don't think they would bring charges against her.

So sad that such a young life is taken so tragically. How horrible for his family and loved ones.

I got the impression they were still fighting when he was in the truck (I'm assuming yelling at each other) so it's likely she knew he was back there.

I was transferred years ago when I called 911 because my parents' barn was burning down. They played Muzak while I was on hold waiting for the FD to pick up, too.

Actually I remember when DH had a heart attack I was coming home from the mall calling 911. Turns out I was changing jurisdictions while I was driving so I got transferred too.

He did live with at least two of them.

I think he had a step daughter (fiancee's child) and the two kids he had with her and then I'm pretty sure he had another baby that he didn't live with.

He had his arm in a cast. I'm sure that made it more difficult to hold on. I'm not going to judge. We don't know if he was trying to hurt his fiancee or help her. The accident was only about a half mile from the house.

Evidently, Henry had done a lot to clean up his act. It's sad his life ended this way.
