Benefits of Concierge?

I'm not sure how one thing led to another... that cruiser would have been just as rude from a regular line you'd think? It's awful the way some people choose to treat others. :sad2:

All Customs probably needed was an excuse. They most likely had to hear non-Concierge people complain incessantly that they had to wait in line while the people who paid extra not to wait in line got to go to the front.

That wouldn't surprise me one bit. We've experienced that. Last spring break we sailed in one NCL's 3 bedroom Garden Villas. One of the perks is a concierge escort through the whole debarking process from the ship to a concierge provided limo outside the terminal. Many guests standing in the different lines as we breezed through made quite a few angry remarks. We tried to avoid eye contact and just followed our escorts.

We have gone concierge several times and it's a wonderful luxury. However, we have been out priced and our next Fanasty cruise will be non-concierge. I hope I don't have withdrawal! I do know I'll miss the concierge team the most - amazing, fun people we have really called friends.

My guess - based on the attitude I've seen some concierge guests show - is there was some kind of questioning which is perfectly normal and the guest in question pulled a "Do you know who I am??" on the customs agent. If that is what happened, said guest is lucky all that happened was concierge lost that front of line escort.
