It was suggested that an "add on" be purchased at a different location that the 1st home contract. Wouldn't that ONLY give you 11 months in advance to book ONLY the points for that resort (if I have a 50 pt add on, I could only book 50 pts 11 months out for that resort, not book 250 with ALL my points.Right?)

That's exactly how it works.

Yes, you would ONLY have 11 month advantage for the points at that resort.

One method of using them wisely would be to bank them one year, then next year you could use the current year's points, the banked ones from last year AND borrow next year's points. Every third year, you could have 150 points with the advantage at that resort.

Another idea is to buy two equal contracts at two different resorts. You caould swith off years banking and switch years at resorts. You would have the 11 month advantage for 2x your point allotment at alternating resorts each year.

"From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs", Karl Marx,This has failed every time it has been tried, why do we still have liberals?

We own at two resorts..OKW and BWV. We like both resorts, and the different styles of vacations they offer. Gives us the 11 month booking advantage at both resorts.

Prior to adding on at BWV, we were never able to secure standard view rooms at the 7 month window. (a few have been lucky doing this, most not)With the 11 month booking window, we can now stay at BWV in a standard view and use almost the same amount of points required at OKW. (BWV is only a point or two higher for standard view rooms)

We will consider adding on at BCV's too when they become available.

Each resort offers an entirely differnt look and feel...variety is the spice of life!!

Have a wonderful day!
