benefits for buying tickets with amex

Can someone who did this tell me the benefits buying tickets with amex? I read about a lounge I believe with bottled water at each park. Exactly what is it and how do you show proof you bought with amex? Was about to buy tickets thru undercover tourist but the amex lounge sounded interesting.

I was thinking the same thing. Currently, I believe the lounge is only scheduled to be open until May 15th. Not sure if that will be extended. You need to show the receipt you purchased your tickets with to prove you purchased them from Universal with your Amex.

That post indicates that a particular AMEX card is being discontinued. It does not say anything about the AMEX Lounge at Universal being shut down. The lounge is open to all AMEX cardholders that bought their tix via AMEX.

(I just noticed that the link on the Universal site says that the lounge "offer is available through May 15th").

you are correct. bad wording on my part.

i should have said the official Amex card of universal is making the change.
uo will be chosing a different cc to represent them.
