Benefit to Renewing AP?

Hi! My AP expires at end of July. I mainly have it for when visitors come see me, and of course my occasional solo trips to the park. I don't have any visitors coming until the fall. So my questions is....does it hurt to wait past it's expiration and just get a new one? Is there a discount/benefit to renewing it? Any insight will be appreciated! Not a fan of the big price hike so will probably kick it down a notch this year.

Which pass do you have? Since they took away the renewal discount, for most of the passes there is no reason to renew anymore. If you currently have the Signature pass, the only reason to renew would be to grandfather in the Photopass if you still have it.

Hi Ashley! I currently have the Signature Plus Passport and I think I will be dropping down to the Signature. Thanks for your insight!

The other reason to renew on time if you have add on parking since that is also grandfathered in.

Then there's no need to renew because you will not have the Photopass on your pass with the drop down.

If Star Wars GE opens in June as expected, you’ll have a chance to visit on this renewal regardless of whatever tomfoolery/changes they come up with in the lead up to the opening. May or may not matter to you but it’s a thought.
