"early dinner at 4:30PM because that's how Grimace rolls."
That made me snort laugh! :lmao:

The Wave is sold out? Jason and I were still thinking we might get to do that one .. oh well...

OK! I need coffee

I'm thinking of calling back ... I'm pretty sure the person I spoke with last night was at least half-sleestack. :lmao:

I must just have bad F&W karma this week ... just got disconnected again, this time without even speaking with anyone. :rotfl2:

now I'm on hold but have a terrific CM ... she thinks there may be a mistake in the system and is double checking for us.

F&W NEWS FLASH >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

According to the CM I just spoke with there is a problem in the computer system with loading the dinner at The Wave on 10/22. It's not allowing anyone to book that dinner for some reason.

So ... the good news according to this lady is that no one has been able to book the dinner, but the bad news is that they don't know when the problem will be fixed.

If you really want it, it sounds like you'll have to call every day to try to nab a reservation.

Speaking of the Wave, I was thinking of either changing my GF Cafe or my Kona ADR to there, but I can't decide what I want to do. I'm thinking I may change my Kona lunch to the Wave, since I've already eaten there so many times, and I've only been to the Wave once, and MickeyNicki wrote a great review of it last night that got me hungry for it. I just don't know what I want to do though.

The CM I spoke with ... pardon the expression ... raved about the Wave. :lmao:

She said she's eaten there about four or five times and the food and service are wonderful (her words, not mine). :thumbsup2

We were going to try breakfast there but when Kouzzina opened up we switched just to avoid transportation hassles that morning.

Also ... ehagerty posted a review of a specialty dinner she attended at the Wave back in May, I think. It was her pictures and review that got me thinking that this would be a great place to try, either for a regular meal or a specialty dinner.

I ate there last fall (link to my review in my signature,) and had a really good meal, but now there's a chicken sandwhich with goat cheese on their lunch menu that I am drooling over.

I switched one of my meals to Kouzzina too, except I'll be eating dinner there. But I want that waffle that's on their breakfast menu. But dinner sounds so good, especially the drink list; http://allears.net/menu/menu_kouzd.htm

Out of curiosity... is there anything that is NOT sold out for F&W??? Seems like everywhere I turn people are finding out that the event they wanted to book is not available.

ETA: Maybe there is a major SNAFU with all the F&W stuff like the Wave and nothing is sold out!

Carolyn - I just had two friends eat at Kona in the past week. Their reports are not good. So maybe a switch to the Wave would be a good thing.

We really liked the Wave last year for lunch! Food was good, Nice wines, good service. It looks like a Space-age Denny's but you can't have anything! :rotfl2:

Just called about the WAVE dinner. Was told it is sold out and part of the Tables in Wonderland series so seats were already on-sale! The BlueZoo dinner is not sold out..they checked just to make sure the system was working! Doris was very nice and non-sleestack!

I will say that both my friends ate dinner at Kona. Maybe lunch is not so bad? I know that last year when we stayed at the Poly Bob and I both thought that breakfast was not what it used to be.

Elin, I love three dog night! I love a lot of music from that era ... :thumbsup2

Geeesh, I'm old. My music is now called "that era":lmao::lmao: I remember seeing 3 dog night in concert in high school. I remember going to a Beach Boys concert my freshman year of college and the opening act was an unknown, Billy Joel. His Piano Man song was just being released. I wonder if he ever became successful.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I've actually eaten lunch at Kona twice, and dinner at Kona twice, and prefer dinner. Never had breakfast there, so can't comment on that, but that's one of those meals I always mean to plan, but never get around to.

I did just change my Kona ADR to the Wave though. I will have to stop at the Poly at some point for an Island Sunset though. :goodvibes Maybe before my GF dinner.

Your lineup looks good to me. :)

I hope your shoulder feels better soon!! Oh, I can SO commiserate with those rolling eyes/leave me in peace "discussions!" Your ADRs (in their current form) look good to me. We might overlap our trips by a day or two so maybe a Who/Hav (us) meet could be arranged. Even if it is for a drink somewhere around the World!

Poor Whogirl... tell her that if she practices a little each day it won't be so bad.

Shoulder is better this morning, oddly enough. That would be great to be able to meet! And drinks are always welcome...

Today whogirl practiced with no problem; I think she was just tired since she got the itch to play at almost 9 p.m. last night! Nothing comes easy for her except ballet--she's just going to be one of those kids that really has to work for what she wants in school, reading, music, etc. It's hard for me to help her because I remember piano being so easy...I really should have kept it up.

Rose & Crown for lunch, Jamie ... go for it! Although, having said that I am little worried because their on-line menu at WDW . com seems pretty sparse compared with what it was last October when we last dined there. I'm hoping that we are pleasantly surprised this year by equally yummy and varied menu choices.

And dinner at Casey's? Is there any better dinner in the MK? Have your fabulous dog (with goopy "cheese" sauce) and then go over to the Main Street Bakery for dessert. YUM!!! :goodvibes

EDIT: hope your shoulder feels better. Don't know if you've ever tried it, but Advil PM works wonders for me when I have those kind of aches and pains.

I loved R&C the one time we ate there, so I'll probably throw it in on the last night there. In all honesty I planned on asking them if they would do an adult size of the kids' cottage pie. I'm hoping they could do that at any time of day. Or I could get two kid meals! :rotfl2:

Ok, you sold me on Casey's because I was going to ask if they had cheese sauce. I'm very picky about my hotdog chili, any generic orange cheese sauce will do. I call it "gas station nacho sauce". Main St. Bakery is a definite "do", I only wish that my beloved french toast loaf would come back. :sniff: When you're there in Oct. look for me and see if there's anything new on the breakfast line-up, would ya? :goodvibes

Shoulder is mysteriously better now that I have an ADR list...

Too young for Woodstock, don't really care for the Who or Zepplein :rolleyes1

Ok, that's all I remember, need coffee :surfweb:

No Zeppelin? :faint: Next you're going to tell me you don't like Pink Floyd, either.

Carolyn - I just had two friends eat at Kona in the past week. Their reports are not good. So maybe a switch to the Wave would be a good thing.

Well, that was one on my "B" list, so I'll have to watch for reviews. It was going to be one of my recommendations to my super-picky friends that are going.

Unbefreakinlievable.

I get the e-mails for TIW and I've gotten several for dinners at the Wave. Nothing for October 22.

Unbefreakinlievable.

Even better ...

Kabuki called and she was actually told that the dinner is sold out. Since it was actually a Tables in Wonderland event they let people book it early before offical programming booking opened up.

That totally cheeses me off. If it's listed as part of the F&W programming on one should have been allowed to book early - that way everyone would have had a fair shot at booking. This way, people who weren't TiW members, or people like us, whose card expired in April and can't get a new one until we get our new APs in October, or people who don't have TiW, etc ... were totally shut out.

If it's a TiW event, fine; but don't list it as a F&W event too and give everyone the impression that we're all playing by the same rules when we're not.

Quoting you again ... now I'm really confused. I was told one thing and Chelsi was told something else and now you never got an email about the 22nd?

what in the name of all that is over-priced is going on???
