All of them deserve the nations attention, but unfortunately, most names are never heard by anyone outside the family.
I can't blame reporters for covering Ben's condition they way they are. It's much more of a rarity and fans LOVE him and want updates on his condition.
But, our local news should have run the missing child segment first because it carries more immediate need to be known, locally. It's the news, not a tabloid. It's about responsible journalism, IMO. It doesn't matter how many kids get abducted, this one is missing right now and local people can often make a life/death difference in these cases. Time is of the essence in abduction/missing children cases.
Btw, I love Ben too, but sheesh...
