Beluga Whale Interaction

Hey guys! Am SO excited I'm getting to do this interaction in Oct but wondered if anyone knew how long the interaction takes and if there is a viewing area so my mum and DS can watch please?? Also, anyone know why time the interaction starts or are there different slots?? We're looking to leave the park about half 3ish as we're wanting to get to Kissimee for 5.45, 6ish. TIA!

did it a few years back and it was fantastic if not bloody freezing:0) our time was 11ish but if you go online and start booking process it should give you a time unless it has changed

That's great that you have booked the Beluga Interaction Program! The experience is about 1 hour long. It takes place at the beluga whale exhibit right as you exit the Wild Arctic ride. As long as your family gets there before the program begins, they should be able to watch from the railing around the exhibit.

There are a few programs scheduled throughout the day. I looked at a few dates on the website, and I did see an 11:30 time. Make sure you book as soon as you have a date in mind, as they sell out quickly and are limited to 4 guests per interaction.

I did it before, and it was a great experience. Nothing like being up close to a beluga whale. They are beautiful animals.

I have done it twice! It's great! your mom and Ds will be able to watch from the normal above water Beluga viewing area, when you check in with your tour guide outside wild arctic they will tell your guests what time they will be able to see you in the water. You will spend around 20 minutes actually in the water with the whales. There are multiple time slots, I believe two a day. How long the entire experience takes will be altered by how long it takes you to shower and get ready to go again after the interaction as well. I have long hair to deal with and wanted to re-do my makeup so that added 20min or so on to the end for me.

The CD of your photos is an extra $50, and you will want it so be sure to budget for that.

Some days there are only one interaction a day. We did ours last November and there was only one available that day at 4:40pm
