Keep meaning to ask, where in NC are you?
Actually, I'm not too far from you....Stallings is just outside of Charlotte, right? I'm just up the road in Greensboro.

...but if there's anything that could be done to persuade you to procure that perfect recipe for that pina colava concoction, I would be most pleased. Not to mention grateful.
Did I use enough alliteration?![]()
Worked for me! I couldn't bear to think of you pining away for that drink until she came back with it so I looked on AllEarsNet.com and lookie here:

But... there are more!
From Hurricane Hanna's: Pina CoLAVA - Bacardi Razz rum blended with Pina colada mix and raspberry puree
More... Wonder which is real??
Bartenders at the 22 Walt Disney World Noun 1. Walt Disney World - a large amusement park established in 1971 to the southwest of Orlando, use the same volcanic technique to showcase the Pina CoLAVA frozen cocktail, priced at $7.95. It's one of the resorts' three best-selling drinks. In this instance, the "lava" is an ounce of Island Oasis Raspberry puree in a hurricane glass. The eruption is set off by pouring in the mixture of ice, Bacardi Razz Rum and Pina Colada mix straight from the blender cup. At busy pool bars, frozen drink machines are used to make the frozen component of the cocktail in volume.
OK... I am a wine, beer and bourbon girl. Didn't know that all three recipes are basically the same. The Island Oasis Raspberry IS the puree!
I must be a freak of nature ... oh, wait; I am a freak of nature.
What I meant was that I don't like the pina colava ... too sweet; too much raspberry. Go figure. Since they did away with my Shipwreck at Hurricane Hannah's I've been sticking with the Grand Margarita, which isn't bad. I may ask the bartender to stretch in October and make me a kahlua colada ... yummy yummy yummy!
Thought I'd tempt you fine folks with some food porn from my recent weekend on Martha's Vineyard. These come courtesy of Water Street, a tapas place in a hotel that looks suspectly like the Yacht Club.
Here we have a slow roasted tomato, greens and local cheese![]()
And here is the braised artichoke

More on point-have any of you eaten at Tchoup Tchoup at Universal Orlando? Is it worth it?

Hi friendies,
I am happy to report a mostly successful experience with the online ADR tool this morning!![]()
Thanks for posting, we're going in October!!!!
WOO HOO!!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Are you trying to confuse me? I'm already weak brained from working fastidiously on my tie dye Mickey shirts.
I swear, the fumes must have gone to my head.![]()
Bourbon Slush
2 cups tea
6oz can frozen orange juice
12 oz can frozen lemonade
1 cup sugar
6 cups water
1-2 cups bourbon (depending on what kind of mood you're in)
Combine all ingredients and freeze overnight. Enjoy!
Thanks for the info! I am a DVC member so unless they fix the DVC glitch soon, I will have to call for my ADRs in a few weeks. But it's always good to hear everyone's experiences -- makes me less nervous to try it out. At least I can use it after the 90 day mark.
