Belly Up to the Bar With Bendy and Her Friendies!!! Button Pics & New Thread Started!

No, no issues with the online dining - I booked them both at work. I am on a DVC reservation but I'm less than 90 days out so the 90 + 10 isn't relevant. Was able to get 'Ohana anyway and that's popular. I was even able to note on both reservations that I am celebrating a birthday on that trip.

Have had problems with DCL before too - but it's a different system from DCL.

The online system isn't working for Sanaa and I do want a reservation there. Right now you have to call if you want that restaurant. But I can't believe it's full for Labor Day weekend.

Brenda,

Even though Michaela and I are going before your trip could we please order two buttons, I love them. :goodvibes You did a great job on it Catherine. :)

Woo Hoo indeed! :cool1:

Before long I guess I'm going to have to get a cake count so I can figure out how much to order. Squeeeee!!! Very excited about our DISmeet ... I think it will be a hoot! :woohoo:

I never chimed in on the button, but I'd like one, too. :flower3:

So are you making the Todd English's bluezoo™ reservation, too? :duck:

Lori...

You WIMP...

(as I :tiptoe::tiptoe::tiptoe: away from that subject myself... :rotfl2:)

I made the same assumption for you that I made for Catherine.

Actually, yes ... I was planning on making that reservation. Even if everyone else decides they want to do something else that night ... say F&W does something cool (ha ha ha ... ;) ) ... Jay and I will still be stuffing our faces at Todd's blue palace of seafood delights.

I just need to get a grip on the number of people to reserve for.

You silly peoples you ... :rotfl:

How on earth did I miss like 5 pages over last couple days

Lori (and all the Disney foodists) have you seen the 5/09 menu for Bistro de Paris on Allears?

The Degustation Menu has...

wait for it....

Foie Gras Terrine. (For an extra $5 of course)

Some may want to think of that as an option for October. Looks like it costs a bit less than V&A costs, for the degustation menu with wine pairings. Without it seems to cost a good bit less than V&A. But who wouldn't want the wine pairings? AND they take The Discount Formerly Known As Disney Dining Experience.

I know Allears menus aren't always devastatingly accurate, but they do pretty well - and it's also a long time to October

I'm looking forward to trying it! DD just booked Bistro online for DH & I to go for our anniversary dinner.

How did I miss out on so much???

Oh yeah... pain killers... that'll do it...

Note to self... go back to Pg 166:upsidedow

I don't have pain killers, so let's stick with the "it's a Michelle thing"

We're home! I found out on our whirlwind vacay that we'll be moving to Texas, so I am pretty pissed off.

What did I miss?pirate:

Welcome home! Sorry you got bad news about the move

I was wondering if anyone here had tried the online booking. I'll admit, I'm wary of it.

Which is hilarious, considering how internet prone I am for everything else.

But this is serious business. We're talking ADRs, people!!!

It's not like ordering a tank top. :lmao:

My date is coming up soon, I'll have to decide if I'm brave enough to try the new site or if I'm going to be old-fashioned.

DD has now made several extra ressies for our upcoming trip. Even booked LeCellier

Normally, I'm all for anything that allows me to not have to talk on the phone (I don't know why, but I just hate talking on the phone......which makes my choice of career in customer service even more mysterious to me), but I think I'm going to call for mine as well. I booked my room through a TA, and I read that those reservations were also having issues with the online ADRs. When it comes to truly important things like food ressies, my motto is better safe than sorry!

The issue with the TA site was similar to calling in and being told the system was down. It seems to be better now, but it's still Disney IT :rolleyes1

I hate we're missing out on the cool buttons--I guess mine would have to say "Ho, Ho, Ho, and a bottle of rum" ;).

I felt good enough to get out for a 2.5 mile walk in the steamy stench that is stinktown ... hopefully this will be the first day of the loss of 30 pounds by October. :thumbsup2

I say that with a totally straight face as I now tell you that Jay wants to go to Vegas next May for his 40th and wants to time it with Vegas Uncorked so that we can hit up some foodie events.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I love him so much ... we're just a couple of enablers. :lmao:

So... you'll just make going to Overeaters Anonymous and AA a date night... ;)

I googled drunk Mickey Mouse... and funny... the most pictures that came up were of Britney Spears... :rotfl:

Glad you felt good enough to get out and about  even in the heat! :scared: Ick! That Jay is a keeper! :thumbsup2 We'll see you in Vegas next May - we'll be celebrating my 40th & Jordan's 21st B-day. Where else would you celebrate your 21st B-day?! ;) You can find us at the Bellagio! :yay:

Happy Father's Day to all the foodie dads out there! :goodvibes
