belly ring?

Okay, my mom gave me the choice to get a belly button ring or a nose ring, for this summer. So i picked the belly button ring. Well my dad of coarse doesn't really like the idea of pulling more attention to myself, when i wear a bikini. He says it brings to much sex appeal to a 14 year old girl. Well what do you think?

Almost every girl my age at my school has one. Personally, I don't have one because I'm simply not skinny enough for it.
I understand that there is sex appeal in a belly button ring, but I don't really find it.. a big kind of it? It's just a little thing that people only really see int he summer.
I think the lizard ones are cute =)

Personally (and i stress to you that word), i think they look tacky and common.
My friend had hers done, it got infected and disgusting for a while but she hardly ever shows it off because her stomach is too flabby (her words). Waste of time and money if you ask me.

My friend's stepsister has one (she's 15) and it just looks weird on her idk maybe it would look good on you idk you but ME PERSONALLY i would not get either

Are you kidding me? You are 14 and your mom is letting you get a nose or belly button piercing? Holy cow! That's just......wow. I'm sorry but I don't think a 16 year old let alone a 14 year old should be allowed to get one of those piercings. Sorry, but I have to agree with your dad on this one......

I think its much too sexual a piercing for a fourteen year old. Plus, they can make your tummy look funny, if you wear it long enough.

Sorry but I am not a fan of bellybutton rings. What's the point? Of course, I only have just one piercing in each ear. I'm not a fan of piercings really.

My friend got it done and she got it snagged on her boyfriend's shirt and it pulled.

I don't have one. I don't really think it's a problem to get one, even at 14. A lot of my friends got their belly buttons pierced around 14 or 15.. I think that sometimes they do look cute on some people, but I wouldn't get one because really the only time you see it is in the summer, so the other what 8 months of the year it's kinda wasted ya know? Nobody to show it off too.
On the other hand, I'd much prefer belly over nose, unles the nose piercing is done with a very small stud, otherwise I think the majority of nose piercings look kinda tacky. Again, just my opinion, and they can look good sometimes
