Friday Nov 4th, Day 14

Today is EMH in Mk from 8-9, so we are up at 7am and in the park by 8am. we have a PS for breakfast at the CP at 9.30. We head straight over to the Indy Speedway as Alex wanted to have a car to herself today. John goes with georgia and I stand on the bridge and film them. we then head over to Fantasyland and do Winnie the Pooh, Snow White and Teacups. Its is surprisingly busy already. A big line for peter pan so we skip this and head back to wards the CP. JOhns does a detrour and gets some FP's for BTM while we book in for breakfast. Its very busy by CP and some families are starting to get irate over people pushing in. Some people are sooooo rude!!
Once we are in we are slightly disappointed with the food. Ony Pooh and piglet come over as ists so busy. To be honest the girls are starting to get a bit embarrassed about posing with the characters so I| think this is probably the last character dinner we do. For the price we could have done 3 buffet breakfasts outside Disney. Don't get me wrong we have really enjoyed them in the past, but I think they are much more suitable for younger children.

So now its back to Frointierland and we do slash with only a 5 min wait. Then over to BTM with our FP's. Its a good job as the line is massive for this ride today. Its now about 121sh so we walk down mainstreet, and then parkhop over to MGM. We are parked in Film and get the tram to the entrance. OH KNOW!!!! We suddenly see a sign we do not want to see.... Aerosmith shut for rehab. :earseek:
On an instant downer we head over to information to see how long its shut for. Sweet words come our way. It re-opens tomorrow. :Pinkbounc  :cheer2: Pheeew panic over. With a renewed spring in our step we head towards TOT. We get a FP to return between 1 and 2pm. We head over to do the back lot tour and find this boring as it has not really changed at all. Its now time to use our FP so back to TOT. I always find the build up to this ride fills me with anxiety and fear. Its very clever how it does that. It now has 4 drops and we all scream appropriately. Its now 2.45pm so we get the car back to DTD. We stop at the Earl of Sandwich for a late lunch. These sandwiches are really tasty, and I highly recommend them. We have a look around the shops for about an hour and then go back to the hotel as the girls want to swim. We were going to try bennigans tonight but we are all tired and full of food so we just get a snack at the Maya Grill and settle in to watch a movie.

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

We found CP does not really handle the check-in area well - no differentiation between those booked and casual walkers-up!

Next time I'm going for "family style" :teeth:

Lovely report. I have heard good reports about the Earl of Sandwich but didn't see it when we were over there. Where exactly is it? Is it a sit down restaurant or a carry out sandwich type of place? Many thanks.

Hi Bev

It is either. Its basically an upmarket sandwich bar but much bigger. There is a nice choice of more unusual fillings and we ate in, but you can take away. They have the biggest chocolate brownies I have ever seen there as well.
You must try it next time you are at DTD. :)

It is in Down Town Disney opposite the Big Disney store I think. Can anyone chip in if thats incorrect. Blimey I was only there 4 weeks ago and struggling for the exact location. You can't miss it though Bev. Its also near the Ghiradelli chocolate shop I think. Enjoy!! :)
