I was wandering if anyone has ever went to this storytime with Belle and if so what were your thoughts on it, I was just trying to figure out if it's something DD6 would enjoy or not?

Thanks:cool1:

My girls like it ( of course, Belle is my older dd's favorite princess since her mn is Belle)...... plus you get to meet her after the story time....

My dd loved it. She also calls some of the kids up to help with the story. I loved the small setting and Belle was so nice!

This is a non-negotiable must see for our DD. It is, I think, the most personal and longest time you can get with a character. When you get autographs or do a character meal, you may get to speak with them, but only for 15 - 30 seconds. For this, it's different. Plus - if yours is one of the lucky ones to be selected to go on stage and help act the story out, it's even more memorable. Kids haven't been selected yet - but I was the Beast for one performance. And quite a good one, if I do say so myself!:rotfl2:

I think it's a hidden gem that I overlooked for way too long!

Belle's story time is wonderful. DD first went when she was about 5. It's in a small area, not a lot of seating so get there early enough. Belle picks children out of the audience to play characters in her story and then the children line up to meet her and get a pic when the story is done. When my daughter got up to Belle, DD said "I'm so glad to see you again Belle, remember me from breakfast this morning?". We had been at Cindy's that morning. Although it looked like the same Belle to me, I'm sure she sees so many children that most likely didn't remember, but she didn't miss a beat "yes, of course I remember you, it's so nice to see you again . . . " DD was near the end so she had a nice conversation with Belle. Way to go Belle - I was so impressed.

I'd say it's a don't miss for a little girl also.

My DD is 6 and loves this storytime. It is a small area and just a nice event. Meeting Belle is awesome. My DD was Chip in the show once and has never forgotten it. Go, I am sure you DD will enjoy it.

I finally got to see this show...it was a lot of fun. My son was picked to play Belle's father and he was very excited. Below are pictures of the play and the sitting area. There's not a lot of people that can fit in there, but after the show is over, the kids can meet with Belle and the interaction is quite long, she takes her time and talks to each child.
There was some other people (that did not attend the show) that wanted to get in line to get to see Belle, but her helpers told them no, she only sees the people that were at the show.

Watching the little kidlets in the show is always so much fun!!! Makes the show a bit different everytime you see it too.

BTW my DD 17 still goes to storytime with Belle when she goes to disney but then belle is her favorite characater of all time. If she gets in line to meet Belle she gets in the very back of the line wants the younger kidlets to get their time with Belle.

We have seen the same 'belle' in every show on each of our trips. There are two helpers in the show, and we have only seen three different people in those roles as well. Kinda' nice continuity.

THANK YOU for the pictures! We missed it last year and I was bummed but after seeing the pictures we will not miss it next time.

My kids love it and my husband was chosen to be Gaston for a performance. (I have it on tape too!!!) It is a special memory for all of us and we plan to see it again.

Where can I find this? DD has recently become enchanted (hee hee) with Beauty and the Beast and I think she would love this!

Located in the Magic Kingdom, next to the Enchanted Grove Refreshment stand in Fantasyland and across from Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland is the Fairy Tale Garden. Several times a day, Belle delights children with her retelling of the story of Beauty and the Beast.

My prince  (my DH) got to play the Beast....
It is now one of our family's favorite magical moments.
It is just so low key and sweet...
This definately is a hidden gem!

In all our trips we have never seen this! Thanks so much for all the details and pics!! I now have to do this on our next trip. Anyone know around what times it takes place?

I am going to make sure we make it to this on our upcoming trip. Sounds like so much fun :)
