Hello all
Well I have practically vanished from DIS over the past three weeks! We have been preparing for our engagement party! Well the day has come and gone and what a wonderful day it was! As some of you have seen from my planning journal we had our party at our country club. I could not have planned a better day! My in laws came in from FLA and about 100 of our friends and family joined us. Here is the invite for those who did not see it. As you can see we started already with the Disney theme. We also used the same pic for our guests to sign instead of a guestbook. Here are a few pics of DF and I. As well as my parents. As the photos of the venue come in I will post them. We had a lovely dinner and it made us even more excited about the wedding that is so rapidly approaching! Talk to you all soon!

Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful words! We did have a great time. I must say though my FMIL is already starting to cause problems! Well we aren't letting her but she is turning into quite the troublemaker! Telling everyone how I am stealing her son! I wanted to kill her! Oh well I guess things can't be perfect! I am sure some of you understand the FMIL's from HELL!
Everyone LOVED the espresso cups for the favors in fact people were trading so that they could make sets with all the colours it was really funny! We can't wait to have our DFTW but we are getting worried because EVERYONE wants to come now! So much for our budget!

How pretty!! We didn't have an engagement party (we took the money and went to Disneyland instead! LOL) but yours looks like SO much fun!!

Ember-We were hoping to not have an engagement party but it since the in laws had never been to Canada my parents suggested we have a party so they could meet our friends and family. It was a great party but A LOT of work. I thought to my self I want less stress than that for the wedding. I wish we would have used the money for a trip after that weekend I could use one!

wow - beautiful! and the two of you look so incredibly happy . your FMIL is getting it all wrong. if she plays her cards right, she's not "losing" her son , she's gaining a sweet, lovable DIL.... oh well, her loss! oh and I just have to say, that gown looks STUNNING on you!!!
