Thought maybe RustyScupper would be good at answering this perhaps, or anyone with an opinion I would greatly appreciate it :goodvibes

New situation for me as this is first trip with a baby. I will need bell services to bring to my room: a carseat, a rental swing, a rental "saucer" type baby thing, and a suitcase.

What is an appropriate to very good tip? Usually I just leave my carry on with them and when they bring it I give about $5. No clue in this situation.

I will need them to bring it up and come get it for transfer from BWV to VWL. I was thinking maybe $20 per trip but extra for the transfer part of it :confused3

Thanks all. :worship:

We usually tip about $2 per item at both pick up and drop off. It should really not matter what the items are.

Though I would try to scale that back the rooms are good sized but that is an awful lot of stuff.

I travel weekly for work and stay in a ton of hotels for both work and pleasure. For the items you will need assistance with, I would personally tip at least $10-$15 each time for both drop off and pick up.

Lol, thanks, I know! My little weirdo sleeps in a swing at night at home so that will take the place of a crib or pack-n-play. The saucer I had to throw on there to meet the minimum rental amount. He needs the car seat for the plane, and I can't figure out how to eliminate bringing a suitcase! :rotfl:

I agree, it's a little hard to scale back the necessities :)

1) Customary Tipping to Bell Services:
. . . $1 per piece of luggage
. . . $2 minimum (in case of just one item)
. . . $2 per piece for bulky item (slows down the cart, so takes longer)
. . . $2 per piece for extra heavy luggage (hernia surgeries cost money)
2) For your list, I would tip
. . . $5 if small enough for a single cart and easily handled
. . . $7 if the swing or seat is awkward

NOTE This is what many of us businessmen tip elsewhere, and
also is customary ar WDW. Of course, Europe and Mexico are different
