Hi all
we were there 24th Dec - 27 Dec staying at Explorers, so highs and lows a bit late but it's a holiday time.
Highs - not in any order:
Christmas Eve Evening when we got there there were so many walkon rides.
Auchan Hypermarket - went there before closing on Christmas Evening (6pm) saved money by buying loads of coke for days in park.
Being there for a few days allowed us to see more of park and not just go for popular rides - although we still didn't get on everything or see all shows. Casey Jr and Le Pays de contes de fees were new favourites of the kids.
My 4 year old loving rides like Crush's Coaster and Star Tours - his mum wouldn't let me take him on the Tower of Terror though...
Character Breakfast at Cafe Mickey on Xmas Day, lovely cooked breakfast and of course the characters.
RS Transports. Were slightly late on way home but were apologetic and were still easily at CDG with just over 2 hours to flight.
EAC card - my 5 year old with Autism wouln't have got on half the rides without this - he doesn't do queues!
Plaza Gardens on Boxing Day - it was busy but food was great and is one of rare times where we're trying to make sure kids eat loads.
Sharholders Card - I'll have some discount on that lol. Saved more money that it cost so next visit we're plus money all the way!!
The Earls Club - I loved this sandwich plus 10% off with shareholders card.
Explorers no issues and was great with it being 1st stop to and from Parks. Pool was a bit cold during Aquaplay with cold water being dumped in pool every 2 minutes but at other times was fine - kids weren't that keen on Aquaplay anyway.
Lows
Whoever said it wasn't busy on Christmas Day was wrong - the place was pretty packed. Lol it ruined my romantic notion of walking on to loads of rides. Apart from Xmas Eve we found it pretty busy each day.
The crush at the buses with 2 small kids (sometimes in buggies) this was hard, everyone just pushes no matter whether its an adult, child , or child in buggy. I'm sure many have experienced being unable to fall over on the bus as you are wedged in so tight.
Being raring to go for Park opening when everyone else is still trying to drag themselves out of bed.
So lots of highs and few lows.
Now bring on Orlando!
