Beirgarten, lunch, 5/27
Service here was really good. It was prompt and attentive. Exactly what it should be for a buffet. Our server was also very friendly and tried to be helpful in any way that she could.
We were seated with other people even though there were many, many empty tables. But the baby was sleeping when we checked-in for our PS/ADR and they told us to leave him. They went out of there way to find a table that could accommodate our stroller. I was really impressed with that.
The theming of the restaurant was wonderful. Ive never been to Germany, but Im assuming it was pretty on target. It felt like we were there and in the middle of the night. According to both the Unofficial Guide and Allearsnet.com there should have been a show though, and there wasnt. Our PS/ADR was for 12:30, and we were there for about an hour and a half with nothing.
The food was wonderful. Especially the salads and the desserts. I had forgotten how much German food I grew up eating until we got there. Our preschooler even found quite a bit he was willing to eat. I would eat here again.
