I recently heard from a friend who was in Disney World that she was told from a cast member that if they can't physically look at you and point out what is wrong they will turn you away without receiving a DAS pass. I understand that this does cut people out from trying to use the pass without needing it but what about those who you can't physically look at and pick it off right away?
This worries me for my up coming trip. I do use a wheelchair when I'm in Disney World because I physically can't walk due to my knees, hips and ankles being messed up and my recent surgery on my knee, but there is other issues I have. I use to recieve the GAC pass (which I rarely used unless I absolutely needed to) and when they went away with it I believed it was a good thing. I used the DAS pass when they first brought it out along with our fastpass+ option. Do you think bringing a letter from the drs stating my issues would help with recieving my DAS pass? This helps when I'm having my off days and not being able to have it for those days would make it hard to enjoy or even go to the parks.
