Being Placed on Hold...

Okay, I just made our first reservation today and it seems like I spent half an hour being placed on hold during the call. I normally hate being put on hold, but for some reason I didn't mind this time.

Maybe it was the fact that I knew that it was worth the wait in order to make our reservation, or maybe it was the Disney Christmas music in the background.

I am not sure what it was, but my wife couldn't help but laugh at me when I started to hum, and then sing along with the music being played over the phone.

Am I the only one who has suddenly lost control and became a little too happy while contacting DVC? I can't be the only one that couldn't help but sing along with a familiar tune, can I?

I almost always get put on hold on DVC calls. It seems if they take a few seconds to key something, they put you on hold.

We are actually waiting for the Grand California Villas to become available and will hopefully add those points to our existing ones.

Hopefully we won't have to endure this suffering too much longer...maybe they'll start selling GCV at the end of January.
