Being Helpful

We are a loving, helpful, generous lot here on this board, right? We all feel sorry for Pete being sick and there being no show this week, right? And we are ALL concerned about helping them give away that final free podcast cruise, right? Which they were supposed to tell us how to win yesterday.

So I was thinking it would be funny if we helped Pete and the gang out and came out with some ways for them to give it away by next Wednesday. I'm sure we can come up with some creative ways, just to be helpful you know. If nothing else it might give Pete a good laugh while he is sick!

Hmmm, I say Pete starts a "Contest" post. Everyone gets to post ONE time on it, the number your post is is your lucky number. It runs for a certain amount of time that is known to all, say cut off on ie. Tues at 1159pm. So now we have number 2 (the first would be the one started by Pete) to the whatever number the post ends at.

What I don't know though, how to pick the number from there. I know you are not going to see anyone write down each number on a piece of paper to pick out of a hat LOL!
Any ideas? on that part? Add up dice, use a deck of cards? Pick it before and put it in an envelope to open on the show?

That is a cute idea! I am assuming they probably already have an idea though if they were planning on doing it this week. But I hope it is some sort of contest idea like Miss Missy made up- I am in the mood for a contest!

That works for me. I just got married (well 8 months ago now) on May 10, so the cruise is during my 1 year anniversary

Really bad idea, the brits are far too close! How about someone from MUCH further away... like New Zealand
