So on our MK day the park opens at 9 but we have an 8:05 ADR. My husband is going to Universal on this day so he will be dropping us off at MK. So I am wondering - can he all the way to MK or will he have to drop us at the TTC and then we'll have to take a monorail to the park? I am also assuming he will have to pay parking?

I don't believe there is any way for him to take you to MK directly and drop you off. My thought is that he will need to take you to TTC (and yes I believe parking will be charged) and you will need to take the monorail from there. If you have an 8:05 ADR I would suggest being at the TTC by 7:00 or shortly thereafter.

Nope! just have him drop you off at the Contemporary Resort and just walk over- it's less than 10 minutes.

Actually that's true...didn't think of that. Good idea.

There is a drop off by the TTC. No, you don't have to pay to go there.

He could also drop you at the GF, where you could take a short monorail ride to the MK. You can walk from the Contemporary. The walk is nothing in the morning. At the end of the day, it can seem much longer. :)

I was just thinking maybe I should just have him drop us off at a resort - but I forgot the contemporary is within walking distance! That's a great plan. We may pay parking later in the day anyhow if he meets us at a park - but it would be nice to avoid it in the morning just in case he doesn't meet us in the park later.

So when walking from the Contemporary - is there a sidewalk/path intended for walking to MK?

Yes.
Basically, just follow the sidewalks that run under the monorail beams.

Are you staying at a Disney Resort? Parking is complimenatary if you are...also if you have an annual pass.

I'd rather take the monorail from the Polynesian. But there is a designated MK Guest drop off at the TTC. Each of the parks have them. At DHS you get a colored sign to hand to the parking lot attendant.

Nope!
I really care more about getting to the ark in the easiest way though - and I am not sure what the scoop is on the TTC and monorails that early in the morning. If we can save the $15 in parking though - that's just a bonus. We may end up paying it later that night though anyhow if Dh meets us at MK. Since we won't have a car we probably won't do a mid day break - and I guess we'll wait and see how tired we are and how long we want to stay at MK - and ditto for dh at Universal.
I am not even sure how we'll be getting back to the hotel (bonnet creek) we may try their bus system or take a cab if we want to go back to the hotel before Dh gets back from Universal.

If you don't feel like walking I'd get dropped off at the grand floridian... it's the closest monorail stop to the MK. :)
