I absolutely take much pride and joy in being a Nana!! Grands have a way of keeping our spirits young and putting a bright spot in each day

.
We are blessed with 12 grands

. Having four adult children (3 daughters and a son), each has blessed us with 3 grands. Our son married a young widow with 2 boys, so of course we consider them ours too. Our grands are ages 5 mos thru 19yo. ~ 3 princesses, 9 princes and of the 12, thankfully 6 live locally. If things go as planned DS and DIL would like to also have another blessing in near future.
With the local grands, we have been blessed to help take care of each P/T, as our daughters work and we help out until they go to pre school. We are also very fortunate to be involved with lots of their activites and occasional overnight stays. Later this month we get to keep 3 grands for the week while Mommy and Daddy take an Annv cruise, so we are looking forward and excited to help out

! Unfortunately the long distance grands, we have to settle for calls, web cams, emails pics, videos, etc., but, we'll take whatever we can get and love them all the same!!
Like my siggie says:
Grandchildren are God's reward for being a parent!
