Sometimes I often wonder what happens at Disney behind the cast member gates. I would love to be a fly on the wall after the park closes, or in employee areas. I've seen some funny photos of backstage moments, and I love it!

What would you want to see/experience in the parks?

THAT is funny! The look on Snow White's face is priceless!

as far as your question....it might be kind of funny to see a couple of Princess' in a cat fight! (not really, but since it is just a msg board, I can imagine the scene in my head...kind of like the above pic!)

ummm...there was a pic there when I responded...

i wish they would offer an after hours tour and yes i'd pay to take it to see how they keep the park so clean and maintaned. i have been to disneyland several times and wdw once and i'm amazed more by the not seen in the park than the rides. i mean we all know how much work it is to keep the house or yard up yet disney has found a way to do that to their park and guest don't see it. i know i see the folks sweeping up here and there but theres mountains of food and trash that must come and go.

When I worked for Silver Dollar City, we had a blast after the park closed.* It was always amazing how several different areas would all have had trouble with the same guest.* We wanted to get paintballs so they would be easily identified!
*
The group I worked with, all girls, went out with another group that was all guys.* It was a ton of fun when I was 21ish-23ish.* We always laughed that we worked hard during the day but played harder at night. Just did it for the summer while teaching during the school year.

I am amazed at how clean parks can be when it is expected versus other parks where no one seems to care.

As one who was able to do this years ago - it was/is pretty neat to experience. YOu would be amazed at how incredibly dull and boring the backstage areas are compared to the beautiful and incredible attention to detail INSIDE the park. I remember how fun it was to be in the park at dawn, racing around the island each summer in the CM Canoe Races. That was fun. And being there after all of the guests left, standing on a deserted MS - that was pretty cool too.

There is this distinctive backstage stench that exclusive to DL, especially (obviously) around the giant trash truck size trash compacters. My DH calls it 50 years of grime buildup. So nothing very exciting, not NEARLY or even close as clean as onstage, lots of stuff in odd corners (boxes, carts, etc).

The funny and fun pictures you have seen are probably isolated incidents, things like that do not happen every day, just as working at DL is not the best job ever, you get sick of being so dang happy and nice, and not all guests are as nice as the people here on the DIS :disrocks:
