Can anybody tell me how late beignets are available at Port Orleans? I see the restaurant is open until midnight but I wasn't sure if you could buy them up until closing time! I'm hoping to pop over from DTD one of my nights but wanted to make sure I could get them!!!

Hot food stops at 11pm. Cold items, bakery, pizza and beverage machines open til 12 Midnight. I know Beignets are made all day, but I'm not sure if they're made until 11pm since there's probably maint. and clean-up for that service. I'd say to call the resort when you're in town, but who knows if you'll get an answer to that.

I have only had beignets at two places in my life, at Disney and in New Orleans, the ones at Disney, if hot are good, but in comparison, the ones in New Orleans were much, much better, but you would expect that.

Oh, I got them pretty late if I can remember correctly.

The ones I had from POFQ were awful. But I'm from Louisiana.

Thanks! I'm bummed to hear they don't compare to NOLA. But I guess I should expect that. I frequent NOLA a lot but never with my kids- I'd love to get them some while we are in Disney! Thanks for all the input!!! I think I'm going to call to make sure before we head that way so that we don't make the trek for nothing!!!

My DD visited NOLA a few months back. Neither she nor I had ever visited there before. DD told me she had the Beignets at the Cafe du Monde, world famous for their beignets. She took a pic. It seemed fluffy inside. That's different from the POFQ Beignet, which is an empty air pocket inside. DD said the NOLA version was much better, but we plan to stop by POFQ for some anyways.
