Behind the Seeds

No, but I was hoping to on our trip in two weeks! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

we wanted to take it but it was closed due to soaring being built so next time...

is it a lot of walking????

We loved this tour!! It's a lot of fun and really interesting, especially if you enjoy gardeneing. It's all walking but nothing strenuous. You stop and look at a lot of different things!

I did it with my five year old in May. We had a good time and she really enjoyed the time away from the chaos of the park. It was a great learning experience for both of us. Since she was the only kid she got to do all kinds of fun things like releasing ladybugs and feeding the fish. I wish I coudl remember our tour guide's name but he was a lot of fun (i wrote it down somewhere).

There is some walking but it isn't hard and you stop a lot. They offer all kinds of discounts so ask when you sign up.

I've taken the tour and really enjoyed it. It is so interesting. Very good tour.

Not yet but definitely will in January! My IL's who are going with us have a farm/garden business with several greenhouses of their own. It will be a *HUGE* deal for especially my FIL to see how they do things in WDW.

We took it and it great. We loved it and was very educational too. They show you stuff you don't get to see on The Land ride too. Have a good time if you go on it.

Thanks everyone! My Mom (aka gardening junkie) has been wanting to go on it, but last year it had been postponed due to the construction of Soarin'. She's also mourning the loss of that little garden store, so I'm hoping this will make up for it.
Oh, I forgot to ask... how long does the tour last? Where do you buy tickets? (I know it used to be at the garden store, but since it's not there anymore, I don't know where to go.)

Hi,
I booked the "Behind the Seeds" tour for Sunday. I called the phone # and reserved the tour and got a confirmation number for that afternoon!!!! :) I've been excited about it for awhile, so I went ahead and booked it like other tours. I'm also going on the "Backstage Safari" tour next Wednesday!!!!

We also called and booked 'Behind the Seeds' in advance. Depending on when you are going to WDW, you may want to call ahead--we were told that these tours are especially popular during F&W Fest. When we called a few weeks ago to arrange for an early October tour, the choices of available times were already becoming limited (and I had to compromise, because the tour time I had originally wanted was already fully booked).

Also, remember when you book to mention if you are an AAA member or Disney Visa Carholder, as both receive nice discounts on the prices for tours.

When you book ahead of time, do you have to pre-pay or leave a credit card to guarantee the reservation? Other tours I've done have been pre-paid.

You give them your credit card info when booking. Also don't forget to bring photo ID when you check in for the tour.
