DH and I are big Living with the Land fans, and we've been meaning to go on the Behind the Seeds tour for a few years now. I think we'll finally have our chance on our next trip in May.

I grew up on a farm- am I going to be bored? :lmao:

What did you like and what didn't you like about the tour? Was it worth the cost? Discuss. :coffee:

I like the entire tour in general however, the best part is being able to walk through the green house stop, and get a closer look at all the plants. You also get a lot more interesting and in depth info from the guides( which are mainly college interns) than you would from the boat ride. We got to stop for as long as we wanted to look and ask questions and even got to sample some of the freshly pick cucumbers and tomatoes. Its definately worth the $12 and the hour or so. Very interesting!

:thumbsup2 I concur!! It was really good, but there is alot of walking. They do offer AP discounts. I really enjoyed it, and looked at Living with the Land a little different afterwards, like I knew all the inside stuff.

Behind the Seeds is really fun. My bf and I don't garden and really have no interest it in and the tour was fascinating. Its cheap and you learn a lot.

They give AAA discount (its $10 w/the discount) so take your AAA card.

You get a discount with Disney Visa too. I am a gardener, and though I was familiar with most techniques, I enjoyed the trip. Definitely worth the $8 or so I paid. Only 3 of us on the tour plus guide.

I didn't make reservations. Their check in is right to the left of the Soarin' entrance. I think I paid around $9.00, it was well worth it. Just walk up and they will tell you when the next tour leaves or what is available at a later time. Enjoy!!

I loved Behind The Seeds. :thumbsup2 It was well worth the cost. I grew up on a farm as well and lived in a very environmental earth friendly town. Behind The Seeds was still very interesting and informative.
