Hi,

I remember hearing that you could take a behind the scenes tour of Disneyland. Are those still available? Someone told me they don't do them anymore.

Does anyone know? Also - if you've done the tour - is it worth it?

Thanks!

DL doesn't have anything that's similar to, say, Keys to the Kingdom at WDW, etc. Some time ago, I did read that they were planning an early morning thing, but I don't know if that's still happening or not. Thus far, there's just a revamped Walk in Walt's Footsteps.

I did Walk in Walt's Footsteps in Oct. 2001. It's normally $16 per person, but with Disney Club, it's 2 for 1. I think it could have been great had we had a better guide. Ours was quite boring and monotone, we lost about a quarter of our group by the end.

The Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour is now $49 per person and there are no discounts (AP, DC or otherwise). It is 3 1/2 hours and is followed by lunch on the Gallery balcony and a "free" gift. I love when they call it a "free" gift, as though they didn't build the cost of it into the price of the tour.

I've never done it before, but am thinking about doing in on my next trip.
