Where can I find information about the different tours given in the parks? What can you recommend? Been to WDW more than a few times and would like to try something different, as I love behind the scene type tours. Thanks in advance to all!

I found information on Disney's site under tours. The only one I've done so far is Keys to The Kingdom, which was incredible! We're doing Wild By Design this Septemer and I'm really looking forward to it.

All Ears Net is a great place to start. I can easily recommend Backstage Magic, The Magic Behind our Steam Trains, UnDISCOVERed Future World, Around the World (on a Segway), & Yultide Fantasy. Oh, and don't forget my personal favorite event: Dining with an Imagineer! :wizard: If you enjoyed KttK, I think any of these would be a wonderful choice. All of these offer a wonderful insight into how Disney makes the magic. Though it likely wouldn't apply to you, just be sure that anyone else with you truly wants to see these things. Going backstage ruins the magic for some people. For many of us, especially devoted types & DISers, it only creates a deeper appreciation for the show and the cast that puts it on every day. Best wishes! :wave2:

PS- If you have AAA, Disney Visa, or some other qualifying reason, be sure to apply that discount! Gotta love saving money! :teacher:

My dh and I ALWAYS recommend the Backstage Magic Tour.

Take a peek behind the magic! Discover the Disney secrets you've always wondered about on this fascinating tour that gives you an extraordinary look at the artistic, scientific and technical operations that go into creating the awesome special effects, entertainment and attractions that are the cornerstones of Walt Disney World® Resort.

Your behind-the-scenes adventure begins at Epcot® and stops backstage at Disney-MGM Studios and Magic Kingdom® Park. From the Disney Florist to the North Service area, you will get a rare glimpse of what it takes to create and maintain the magic every day.

Here is a list of some of the tours, all of which are excellent behind the scenes tours and you could not go wrong in my opinion. Some of the names are not exact but close enough for a search.

steam trains
Backstage magic(mk,epcot,mgm)

Epcot
Undiscovered world show case
undiscovered futureworld
Behind the seeds

MGM
Has no separate tours but can be visited through the seven hour backstage magic tour. It does however have the "dine with an imagineer" experience

I've done the Keys to the Kingdom and either my dad or my mom will do another with me. How is the Backstage magic one and which park would you recommend?
