My family is beginning to plan a trip for early Dec. 2021 or Jan 2022. I have enough points for a Baylake grand villa. However our family has grown and we will need an additional 2 bedroom. I have some points left over but not enough for a two bedroom. I would appreciate any suggestions!

Get a transfer of BLT points into your account. This way, you can book at 11 month window,

Those points will need to be used over the phone.cant book online. So what I would do is book part of each with your points at 11 months, and then call at 9 am to have them finish each with the transferred points.

This way, you don’t get locked out of either room type, especially if you end up going in December, a pretty busy time.

How about a couple of studios instead of the two bedroom? If you plan on using the grand villa as the family gathering place, then a full kitchen in a 2 BR really isn't needed. Then again it can be hard to snag these in early December....but maybe not January. The grand villas look amazing. Or if your short not too many points, see if you can purchase the one time use points. I had my trips planned out thru January 2022 but then they changed the points charts for January....really messed up my math. Had to go back to the drawing board. Good luck!

Why not do two 2BR's and a studio? Not sure of your length of stay, but I looked up numbers for a week. If you look at lake view for everything it's 648 its for the GV alone. Two 2BR's and a studio are 758 for everything. Just a thought.

I know it is not the same hotel but the Poly is only a monorail ride away and the studios over there are a good size. You can gather at Bay Lake and then the people who are staying at Poly will have no transportation issues.
