Beginning Of Sept. crowds

Well, lucky me, my grandmother surprised me last weekend by telling me she is taking me to disney from sept 1st-8th. Now, last time i went was beginning of july(4th of july..... crazy crowds!). We are staying at Carribean Beach Resort on disney (opposed to a time share i was on with my family last time). Is there much of a crowd during this time of year? I would assume not since all of the schools are in session (I'm missing first day of senior year for disney....i dont know whether to be happy or sad).


Also, my grandparents have an all week pass. Does that include unlimited fun-pass? I remember i was only able to have 1 or 2 fun passes at my time back 2 years ago....Or at this point of the year will i not even need fun passes?

Lastly, what are park hours at this time of year? Thanks for all your help guys, you helped me and my family two years ago, and i know you will help alot now

Crowds are usually pretty quiet/dead in early September -- mostly because kids are back in school. We have gone to WDW in early September every year since 2000. Not sure if the FTP deal will bring in larger crowds, however I suspect the crowds will be just about the same. Park hours are shorter in September, but I've never found this to be a problem. If you want to see how busy the parks are, just visit our site and check out any of the WDW pictures -- they were all taken the first few weeks of September.

I am thinking of going on a cruise and then to the parks next September. Are the Disney ships at full capacity then or are they some what empty tie way that the parks are?
