I'll bet it's on here somewhere, but for a newbie, do some of you have good checklists for tasks to complete before you go to Disney World?:hourglass I know there are great packing lists, but I'm thinking of a list of things to do once you book your trip, what to do a month before you go, two weeks before, etc. Everything from making ADRs 180 days out to watering the lawn the day before. Where are the list makers, please?:coffee:

Thanks for your organizing prowess!

Well, the first thing I do is start taking notes from these boards, I have a binder that I have specific dividers in: flight, resort, dining, designs for shirts/certificates/ treats, mousekeeping envelope, and the break down of cost of the trip.
At 180 days out, by now you will have your resort reservation made, I have the list of TS dining that I plan on reserving. I ponder this for a long while and at the 180 day mark, I make all my TS and special reservations: BBB, Wishes AAA seating etc. I keep a box in my closet for items I pick up that I will need to take: glow in the dark items ( I take kids), little treats for those kids, new toothbrush, deoderant, travel size of my Bath and Body items, airfreshner for the bathroom, at least 1 new pair of pj's, pill a day box, luggage tags, sunscreen,:beach: blister block, advil/motrin, tums.
I book thru AAA, so I have the pay in full date down also under my resort info. At this point in planning I will make my list of clothes I need to take as well as extra items, poncho and extra sweatshirt. At about 2 weeks away from leaving ,I buy stamps for the postcards I will send, I make mailing labels for the postcards- stick these in the bag I will use as a carry on. I have my suitcase out with the list inside an as I wash:laundy: and iron them I put the clothes in it, excuse me here, but, I put the clothes I will wear by latest to earliest. I make t-shirts that is how I know what I will wear as the shirts match the park we will be in:cool1: At the one week point,I write down the emergency numbers I will need to have with me, I buy snacks that I plan on taking, I go to the bank to get my money in smaller bills and separate the money into envelopes by day:rolleyes1. I don't have to stop the mail as my husband stays home:rotfl: I make stuff ahead for him during this week as well. The few days before, I do his laundry:laundy: get the dishes all washed and clean the bathrooms. I leave clorax in the main bathroom toilet:lmao:The day before I leave a couple of windows opened a little:cheer2: Have I confused or helped you? In my binder I have all contracts that I have agreed upon and and anything that I have special ordered as well. I know someone will probably have an itemized list of what they do, but, this works for me. Good luck and Happy Planning:teacher:
