Just thought I would throw that out there. Before Twilight there was Forever Knight and it was a kick butt show back then

I of course saw it because Rick Springfield did the movie but he was way to busy for the TV show so they got that hot blond guy Geriat Wyn Davies to play Nick Knight .

Oh how I loved that show

That show was fantastic. No comparison to Twilame at all. Forever Knight had actual VAMPIRES in it.

I caught an episode of FN as they ran part of the series on SyFY this past weekend. I have already seen them all but it is old enough for me to forget them and rewatch like new.

I have not seen every episode of Dark Shadows. It certainly has the creep factor.

I really liked "Blood Ties" and "Moonlight".

If you are into vamps and bored with the current stuff delving into Anime is fun. TONS of vamp series there.

My favorite TV Vamp series so far was "Blade: The Series". Now that was excellent.

"The Kindred" was certainly interesting and I have caught most of the series on reruns.

Have not seen "The Hunger" or "Ultraviolet" in which Steven Moyer (Bill of True Blood) played a vamp in this series I do believe.

So many shows....so little time.

OMG, I actually have all three seasons of Forever Knight on DVD! I just loved the scenes where the vampires flew, all crooked like they were drunk moths.

Kindred: The Embraced was terrific too. They run repeats on the Chiller Channel. Too bad that show got canned. The lead actor who played Julian died in a terrible motorcycle accident after season one, so they had to scrap it.

Oh wow. I did not know that.

I was mad when they cancelled Blade. They said it was too expensive to do. (OT) Same with Sarah Connor. I wish they would bring that back, I loved that show.

I have never heard of Forever Knight- but I know before Twilight there was Buffy and Angel...hmm a human girl in love with a vampire... already happened Stephanie Meyer! Haha. I also noticed that Twilight seemed to be very similar to the book Tuck Everlasting that I read as a kid.

never knew that! I taped most of the episodes, but would buy the DVD if it was out - loved that show! The guy that played Eddie Fury showed up on Buffy a couple of times (and the X-Files - he plays a great bad guy).

I loved Forever Knight when it came out in the early 1990's. I recently rented the series via netflix so I could see them all again (I have some of these I taped too). I didn't care for how they ended the show tho.
