There are lockers next to the Mara, but I don't think there were that many. If you don't want to swim, there is still TONS to do! I tried to take my DD's swimming before we left and I couldn't get them out of the lobby. They had arts and crafts, storytellers, "animal information specialists" (DD5 still talks about the lady with the ostrich egg!) and then there is the cookie decorating at Boma. When you check in, you get a full-page list of all the activities available throughout the day. Some of them have a fee, but most are free. I am trying to go in June (already booked a 1BR value) so that we can have some "resort time". My intention for that trip is to have "enjoying the resort" as our primary goal and "hitting the parks" as our back up! I was there in October for 6 nights and I think we missed out on a lot of great stuff because I was so obsessed with getting to the parks. We're going again in April of 2010 so we'll buy AP's next June. That way, we won't have to worry about "using up all our admissions". I still have to get cheap airfare or I'll have to cancel.
