I have no idea how to handle stress either. Last night I didnt start my HW until 6 and was up until 10 doing it. I am also a really big procrastinator.
I go crazy, and just have a good time..one good thing to do is put on some music, LOUD..and dance around your room, this helps..or go out and be crazy un public..like yell and dance around..im very good at this
one word. FRISBEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Running also helps. And just go out and do something extremely silly, like over the fourth of july me and another kid chased down an ice cream truck and got some ice cream. I haven't done that in sooooo long.
I get sressed very quickley! I always promise myself a huge treat afterwards, Like a facemask whilst eating ice cream and watching tv. Then give myself a manicure, then have a nice soak in the bath whilst listening to a really feel good cd. When im actually doing my homewok I keep a stress ball nearby, and when it gets too much I just think about why im doing it which I guess is for my future so I imagine what that would be like (good obviosley) and think to myself that if I want a good future then I have to get this done to get the good future.
all you have to do is budget time...as soon as you get home..start on the homework and figure out how much you have to do...budget your time with how much you think it will take you...don't sit down at the computer for just one second(ive done that a couple of times and sat from 5-7 ) don't just watch tv for a minute
start right on your homework and then when you have extra time after your done...spend like 15 minutes getting all ready for school thenext day(so you won't forget anything)
and if you have less homework at nite..start on some homework due later in the week
and spend a BUNCH of time on weekends catching up on homework and getting ahead
that's what I do every nite and I get tons done...I can usually be done with homework by 8..so I spend like 3 or so hours nite
