In the Fall of 2000, I transplanted peonies from my mom's yard to mine. When Spring of 2001 came, the peonies grew but their growth was stunted and their buds dried out. :(

Happy news for the Spring of 2002. I had decided to let them adjust to their new environment one more year before doing anything and I was rewarded with the following. :D

I had twelve beautiful blossoms this year. Hoping next year brings me more. :)

P.S. - The headless doggie is Samantha but she really is not headless

Oh my. I am just in a picture posting frenzy mode tonight. Check out this link to the Community Board if you are so inclined:

That's great news Tulirose, and they look very nice!! :D :D

Patience pays off once again!! :D

Gorgeous peonies, Tuli!

And the prom pics were also very wonderful!

(gotta get me a digital camera, gotta get me a digital camera.......)

The Peony looks GREAT! I had a plant suprise me this spring by snapping out of a deteriorating mode. Has gone on to thrive and bloom beautifully. Some times it pays to just wait.

It looks much healthier and happier.

I love peonies, looks good tulirose :)
