Beer $$

If you buy a bucket you get 6 for the price of 5, definitely nice at the pools. I'm not sure if they do it in the bars. Buying the refillable draft beer mug is a good option too you get 16 ounces for the price of 12. I believe the mug is around $12. Enjoy!:joker:

I don't remember it being that high but it is more expensive than "on land". You can purchase the wine or beer option when you board and get some brought to your room thats a bit cheaper but the "refrigerators" are really just cooler boxes and don't really chill that well. Though your room steward will get you a nice ice bucket and chill them down for you!

Ok, sounds good to!!!:cool1: Thanks!

does anyone have more information on the "beer package" mentioned above?

when you are boarding you will walk past someone from the ship selling cases or six packs of beer, cases of water, and the wine package. You can buy cases of beer or water to send to your room and the wine package is for dinner although if you don't use a bottle you can take it home. Sorry I don't remember the cost for the beer. There are two packages for the wine and it depends on how long your cruise is. (obviously for a bottle of wine at each dinner.)

Hmm.. may have to think about that then :) Do you know if you can buy beer in any store in FL? I live in PA & we have to go to a distributor.

not sure on that....however all the times that we have been to Fl. it seems like every store sells it:thumbsup2

So they let you board just lugging along your case??

That is too funny! That is exactly what I was thinking.

Yes you can just lug it onboard with you. BUT, DCL does request that you cover it either with a bag or putting it in a duffle. They do not want you walking on carrying alcohol in the open.
Carrying sodas on in the open is allowed.

You have to carry it on ...however I just pack it in an empty suit case and it "magically" appears in my room:thumbsup2

Rob

DCL does say they don't want anyone to pack any liquids in their suitcases that are checked with the porters.
