Just wondering about beer selection and prices here. I would hope with the name it would have more than Bud and Coors Lite. Not planning on drinking too much in Disney with 4 yo DD but my wife and I have plans to clank a big German stein together!

"The Biergarten in the German Pavilion features an entertaining show to accompany your dinner and 33-ounce steins of Becks. Although it's indoors, the Biergarten resembles a Bavarian village at twilight. Diners sit at communal tables in a courtyard-like setting while listening to oom-pah-pah music. The nearby Weinkeller sells an extensive selection of German bottled beer for take-home, as well as steins and glassware."

I had a large stein of beer at the Biegarten and I was so full, I could barely eat the meal.

I don't think they sell any american beers - only german stuff. It's good! I remember them having a sampler of some kind, where you got 4 "small" glasses of the four types they have on draft. They also have the very large steins - I don't know how many ounces, but it essentially ruins your dinner! :)

Whoa whoa whoa...I've never had a large beer ruin my dinner and it won't at Disney!:rotfl2:I know what you mean but I'm still gonna order a large stein just for the fun of it. I probably won't get to Germany anytime soon so this will be the closest thing.

They have a Wheat Beer, a Dark Beer, and an Oktoberfest Beer ( we went in October so I think that was a seasonal. The wheat beer is weissbeir. I didn't like mine, I liked the Oktoberfest beer the best. I think the brand is Franziskaner, at least I know for the Weissbeir, but I think they are all the same brand. The brewery is from Munich.

When we went last year there were two sizes of the beer you could order as well as at least 2 types, I know I got the dark and DH chose the light beer. If you can not finish the beer the server will bring you a plastic cup to poor your beer into and you can take it with you when you leave. So eat, drink and be merry :thumbsup2
