Hi there... we were interested in ordering from Beer Run as we've heard positive reviews on this site. However, I emailed them for a menu a few weeks ago and never heard back. I decided to call today and the msg says that they are closed until May 1st. Does anyone know if they are closed for good? I thought they were ideal for us as we just want to order beer/wine and no groceries. Thanks in advance!!

Is this the email you used?

beerrun.delivery@gmail.com

Maybe they are on vacation???

I know they were very quick to get back to us when we were deciding what to buy. It was a great service and I would definately use them again....I hope they'll be back!

I used the contact form on their website. I'll try that email and hope to hear back from them :(

Maybe this will help sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time , another option would be WEGOSHOP.COM or garden grocer they will deliver what you want and it may be cheaper just a thought Good Luck :thumbsup2

I don't know about wegoshop, but I did call Garden Grocer before our trip. They said we had to place a min $40 grocery order before we could add beer/wine. We didn't need any groceries!!! LOL

Beerrun.biz was great because they could get anything you wanted. They even got us a micro brew from Long island that wasn't on their list.

Hopefully, they will get back to you soon!!!! Good Luck!

I used Beer Run last August for a few reasons, mainly the selection is AWESOME!

Jonah was super nice and friendly, was able to get everything I wanted and even bring me a case of water although no a listed item. THe delivery was very easy and on time:)

I would certainly use them again:) PM me of you have any other questions

Well I just left them a vm and also contacted them on their fb page. Hopefully I'll hear back one way or another. I'll keep you posted!

How much booze are we talking? I'll be at WDW at about the same time and I have a car. If you don't hear back from them and can't find another arrangement, maybe I can help.

Ok so I never heard back via email or vm and I called again tonight and the vm box is full. My guess is they are not going to be an option for us.

I also heard that Garden Grocer no longer delivers alcohol so I'm presuming we have Hess or Wegoshop as an option. Any other insight? We're not alcoholics by any stretch of the imagination but I'd like to buy a few nice bottles of wine for evenings out on our patio and maybe a case of beer to sip by the pool. Thanks so much for your help!

You can take a Disney bus to Downtown Disney and get off by Planet Hollywood. Walk across street to gas station/ store and there is alcohol there. Not a huge selection, but enough to choose from. ( corona, Bud, Miller..). Cheaper than buying from resort and cheaper than taking cab to store.

^ This.

Don't worry about embarrassment.

EVERY night there is a line of people waiting for the bus, bringing back multiple "suitcases" of beer to their resorts.

It may not be your proudest moment, but TRUST ME, the Disney bus drivers see it *every* night, and they could not care less....

Pick up a few bags of snacks and danish and beef jerky and fresh fruit and soda while you're there... And whatever else appeals to you.

Looks be darned, you'll save a LOT of money this way, and, hey - you're on vacation ! Do what you want to do !

heheheh guess I'll never see those people again right? Thanks for all of the advice :) We are going to DTD our first night so that might work! Out of curiosity, do cabs line up at DTD or do you have to call one? I'm thinking we'll take a bus there, and then cab it back since we'll be souvenir shopping and beer shopping and will probably just want to make it back to the hotel sooner than later since its our first night and we'll be tired. Thanks!

That's a nice offer. It has always seemed to me that there could be some kind of carpool/cab share thing for beer runs from WDW. 2-3 people could share a cab, load it up with brews, and return to WDW and still save money over the high prices at WDW. There should be a designated spot in resort lobbies for this sort of thing. ;)

oops I jsut saw this now and yes that was such a nice offer!!! Very sweet and generous of you :)
I think our plan for now is to head to the Hess station near Downtown Disney since we were headed that way our first night anyhow. But I like the way you guys think!!
