Beer question

Is beer, tap, can or bottle and do they sell Rolling Rock?

I don't ask much (hehehehe).

I know there is beer on tap and beer in cans and bottles, do not remember if they had Rolling Rock, remember Coors Light, Corona, Heineken and Bud and Bud Light. Maybe some of the guys will remember more, my DH just left for work or I would have more answers for you. Definitely buy the Big Beer Mug, it is worth it. It held 2 cans of beer for a refill of $3.25 and you pay $10 the first time and keep the mug. DH's broke and they just gave him another one last year.

The beer mug sounds like a great deal! My preference is Rolling Rock, bottles. Actually, I will not drink beer otherwise (I know I know...). I'd ultimately prefer to just drink the frozen mixed drinks all day, but exploring my options.

My DH actually brings his Canadian Beer with him (aye') He prefers either Labatts Blue or Molson Canadian and we bring a case with us on the ship to our room and keep it on ice and in the fridge in the room. I don't know if Rolling Rock comes in cans though. I see you are from Vermont and only up here in the North East do you see that Rolling Rock, not down south. I know DH can't get that canadian beer down there either. Bring some with you if it comes in cans.

Yes, even us red neck Southern boys know about the glass lined vats in Latrobe. It is available here. And you thought all we had was Pabst Blue Ribbon.
I like the Rock but I don't think it was on the list of beers available. I remember having a Labatts at Castaway Cay. It was my first one. There were several imports and I can't remember what they were. Wonder how that happened.
Bring a case of your favorite and enjoy the mixed drinks on the side.

I was in Orlando in March and they had Rolling Rock in that touristy supermarket (geeze, I can't place the name right now), but everything was SOOOOOOOOO expensive! A pound of bacon was $6.00. We realized REAL quick that it was cheaper to eat breakfast at a Shoney's breakfast buffet (or equivalent).

Good Ole' PBR, used to drink that way back when. We will have to look for Labatts on Castaway Cay if we run out of our own in our room. Yes, we did enjoy all the other drinks on the ship too, it was when we were in the room that DH would grab a cold beer and pour it in the big mug. Well, I guess not all beers are the same, even any kind of redneck knows that. We have lots of them here in Syracuse too!!!!

I investigated the beer selection while I was onboard during our 5/26 cruise. I was maintaining a thread entitled "Let me answer your questions, 'live' from the Magic" (<a href="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=38440">link</a>) and two folks asked me if they have Guinness on board.

Here's a complete list of the beers available onboard:

These are the beers available at most full-service bars. They also serve the draft selections at various stands set up on Decks 9 and 10 during the day.

Draft Beer (16 ounces) costs $3.25 for domestic and $4.00 for imported.

Canned / Bottled Beer costs $3.25 for domestic and $3.75 for imported.

There is a refillable mug deal where you can get your 22-ounce mug refilled with one of the draft selections for the price of 16-ounces. When I sailed, it was a heavy glass mug that I wouldn't have wanted to carry around.

Keep in mind that there is an automatic 15% gratuity added to your bill for each one.

Make sure that those who have a trip that stops in the Bahamas try the local beer. It is called Kalik or Kalik Gold (I think I spelled it correctly) and it can only be purchased in the Bahamas. I checked on the internet to see if it was imported into the states but it is only available there. It is very good.

On our second 3 day Magic cruise I watched a good ole boy approach the Signals Bar wtih a trash bag in hand. I watched with interest as he had the bartender put 6 Coors Lights in the bag and then cover them with ice. He then walked away never to be seen by us the rest of the day. I assumed that he was sitting in his room watching ESPN and needed refreshments.
So to answer your question - Bucket, sack or cooler, bring your container and they will fill it up for a price.

How can y'all have rednecks in VT. You don't even have grits. That is a prerequisite you know. Taters don't count. Just Kidding, Glad to know we have a chapter up there. I have been as far as Misqumacate ? RI and I met a few there. Fine weekend sitting around the motel eating crabs and drinking beer. Oh, wasted youth.

We might not have grits, but we sure do have Rednecks . I can assure you that if you ever met my father, you'd agree, Vermont has rednecks. My husband and I have listened to the Jeff Foxworthy songs and I'm telling you, we are convinced he's spent a weekend with my father, lol.

Jeff Foxworthy, we saw him at the New York State Fair in Syracuse. He is so funny. We have a lot of redneck friends and listening to Foxworthy is so funny, you think he is talking about someone you know, I hear you there!!!
