Maybe Bud with special sauce would make it better.

Sorry, but Bud is just about my last choice, after Coors Light. While I agree, Budweiser may not be a "specialty" beer. But many of you speak as though it is trash. Which it is not.
Why? Seriously, what is it about AB's success selling a totally unremarkable beer that should make me proud? If Bud was a better tasting beer -- you know, if it actually tasted like real beer -- then I'd be proud of their success. I'm far more proud of those American brewers that sell good beer, even if they don't have anywhere near the numbers that AB has.You should take pride in the fact that your country produces the #1 selling beer in all the world.
I don't need to tour one of the AB factories or listen to their brainwashing material to know what Bud tastes like. Sorry. Maybe you should tour a real brewery sometime. And for all of you who think it is an inferior beer, I encourage you to go to Sea World, Busch Gardens, or an AB Brewery and take the tour / brew class, and see how truly special Budweiser is.

My "logic" makes perfect sense. I have had Bud, and I know what it tastes like. I have had other beers, and I know what they taste like. I prefer the others. That's perfectly sound logic.Sorry but your logic makes no sense.
I didn't say it was crap. I said it was unremarkable and (comparatively) tasteless. If it was crap, it wouldnt have the sales it has.
And dont blame them for being able to perfect the brewing process
Get this straight, okay? It will make the conversation go better. I am not "looking down" on AB because they are a large brewer. I think their product (Bud) is unremarkable, based on the taste. I would think the same exact thing if they were the smallest brewer in the world.Do you look down on Disney because they are so large?
No, it shows that my taste buds actually work correctly.Everyone has there opinon, but saying it it tastless just shows how ignorant you are.
Sorry but your logic makes no sense.
If it was crap, it wouldnt have the sales it has. And dont blame them for being able to perfect the brewing process which allows you to get the same beer in st. louis, tampa, United Kingdom...anywhere in the world.

We also had some great 'Boddingtons' at the R and C..............![]()
Their website claims it's the "Great American Lager."It is as close to tasteless as beer can be, IMO. I'm not sure what Bud calls itself these days, a lager or a pilsner,
You people are crazy!

You should take pride in the fact that your country produces the #1 selling beer in all the world. While everyone complains about the lack of american made products and exports, everyone is knocking one of the true american success stories.
While bud may not be YOUR beer of choice, it is the #1 selling brand in the WORLD. I take pride in the fact that My country, heck my home town, is where this fine brew comes from. you should too.

If you haven't already, you might want to give the Brooklyn Pilsner a try as well. Also, if you can get Saranac where you live, it's tasty stuff. BTW, most of Brooklyn's beer is contract-brewed at the Saranac brewery in Utica, NY.

Had a look at the menu at Citrico's recently. Offered as "specialty" beers--Bud and Miller Light.
Oh dear----
Sales / crap have nothing to do with each other. With 300 million people being brainwashed by the "mass produced beer corporations" all these years other countries beer sales just "pale" in comparison. If it was crap, it wouldnt have the sales it has..
"Perfect the brewing process???", c'mon, you don't really believe that do you, that is absurd. The brewing process was perfected hundreds of years ago..... And dont blame them for being able to perfect the brewing process which allows you to get the same beer in st. louis, tampa, United Kingdom...anywhere in the world...
I guess you can put me square in the ignorant camp as well. IMO, Bud, Miller, Coors, etc are not tasteless, they're just not very good. Now Heineken, that's tasteless, it has zero flavor. Go ahead and flame me, but Heineken, all ice beers, etc taste like ice water....Do you look down on Disney because they are so large?.......Everyone has there opinon, but saying it it tastless just shows how ignorant you are.
It is all a matter of taste. I say drink whatever floats your boat. Although I have to say, a bottle of Bud MUST be accompanied by three Advils
C'mon, you're not going to get an AB employee to drink any of the Belgian ales, or basically anything imported. I recommended a few tasty American-brewed lagers, because anything beyond that will just taste "wrong" to somebody who likes Budweiser. 'Course, there's a good chance anything with flavor will scare him, so in that sense my recommendations won't do any good either.Belgian pale/brown ales, bocks/dopplebocks, IPA's, witbiers, trappist ales, stouts, krieks, lambics, porters, weisse/hefeweisse, wheats, etc. They're all a dozen notches above the Buds of the world.
