Okay I admit to paying 8 something for a 20 ounce beer at the Japanese pavilion yesterday, but I don't think it was more than 14 ounces and the price killed me. So I left POP and went to DTD walked across the street to Hess as I've done at BWV and again I'm savoring the taste of inexpensive beer. Just under $14 for 12 bud light lime and just over $15 for corona. Score! :cool1:

LOL! You'd get along great with my DH! I am not much of a beer drinker but I have to admit last time we were in Epcot it was pretty hot and we split a very cold, very tasty beer from a cart in the Germany area that was just amazing. The HUGE stein in the Biergarten was another thing altogether tho, he didnt want to waste it (hahaha) but it made him so full that he couldnt eat as much of the buffet as he would have liked. We are back in a few weeks and in all honesty he is pondering this very dilemma, I am going to try to convince him to get some later in the day-we shall see what my mightly beer warrior chooses. Enjoy your trip Ted!

Yes, but do they also sell real beer?? Not kidding- DH would rather stay dry than drink bud. Do you remember seeing any other brands like Sam Adams?

I'm sorry, but in what universe is BLL considered to be beer? :lmao:

For the more adventurous, and if you have your own wheels, I would suggest heading to Winn-Dixie and/or ABC liquor about 2-3(?) lights North of the Crossroads on S. Apopka Vineland (CR435) at Lake. Between the two they have just about anything you could want. W-D is cheaper with all major brands, ABC a little more expensive but lots of imports (including that highly foreign Canadian stuff).

I'll take a Bud Light Lime over a Sam Adams anyday.

In 2008 at CBR a six pack of BLL was about $35. Most resort stores have since brought their price down. Last trip at CSR you could buy a six for $15. Not "cheap", but low enough for me not to bother going on a road trip.

Good to know! Thanks. We'll likely stop in their on our way to the resort to stock up on groceries anyway. Two birds with one stone. :thumbsup2

Ah, Ted, you're making us all jealous. Here at home I drink Propeller when I want a beer, but when in Rome... That U.S. stuff is perfect in the heat.

Alohamom, "mighty beer warrior"...:rotfl: My dh loves to look for the unusual too, and also loves ABC liquor. Another reason for us to stay home and chill on the lanai come August...
