Been watching reruns of Beverly Hills, 90210

I must admit I'm addicted to the reruns! Soapnet used to have it on at 5 & 6pm, they just recently they took it off at 6pm. So I have it on while I'm making dinner! It's on a few times in a row both Sat. & Sun. mornings too. I LOVE the season it's in on the weekends - the Valerie/Donna/Ray and Kelly & the cult. Hey who asked who got Andrea to stop cheating? I know!!! I know!!!! Ok I won't spill the beans in case you're watching on the weekend reruns because that episode wil be on next week!

I was just thinking about all the "drama" Kelly went through on the show because I saw the episode yesterday where she got involved with what was basically a cult called the New Evolution led by her college professor.

Lets see she was a part of the cult, shot, raped, killed the rapist, a drug addict, hooked on diet pills, lost her memory, had a miscarriage, almost died in a fire and burned as a result, sexually harassed by her boss, ignored by her dad, dealt with her mom's addiction, cancelled her wedding as the ceremony was starting, and many others things I'm sure I'm not thinking of right now.

I love watchin it too!

I heard that Tori wanted so badly to get Kelly's part, but her dad din't think she could pull it off, so she got Donna.

My favorites were the 1st couple of seasons. When I was a teen, I was mad that Kelly and Dylan cheated together. I liked the episodes when Brenda & Dylan snuck off to Mexico, when Brenda & Donna went to Paris, When Brenda got engaged to Stewart, when Kelly & Brandon were together, and when Val and Dylan went to get his money back. The last episode was good, too.

I thought Steve and Janet were great together. It was funny to see him be the responsible married father because it was so different than the way he was in high school and college.

Another 90210 addict here :happytv: I love the SoapNet weekend mornings!

The reality of it is that Aaron Spelling (producer) wanted a show that his DD (Tori Spelling) could be a "star" in and thus Beverly Hills 90210 was born..:goodvibes

I believe it was in her book that he had the pilot episode written and she scheduled & showed up to audition. They never really discussed her being part of the show until she auditioned just like everyone else. I'm pretty sure it also said Donna & David were not regulars, they were only to be on a few episodes.

Joining in. I too have been watching the reruns on Soapnet ever since we changed our cable back in April. I only watched the last season when it orginally aired since I had finally gotten my own tv. So I am loving seeing all the drama that happened before that.

I always make sure I am up Saturday mornings just to watch it.

Kelly went through the most. :happytv:

I read that she had auditioned under a different name, although anyone could look at her and know she was Aaron Spelling's dd.
