Been there, done that - help!

We have been going every year for several years now & we always look for different things to do. This year, we are looking at doing different dining experiences to include signitures. When DS turns 16, we are going to do some of the tours. We have done the Family Magic tour which was fun especially for kids. DH bought me the Richard petty Driving experience a couple of years ago. I did a ride-along then drove 8 laps. Yes, women can do it too!! It was one of the most fun things that I have ever done. It has to be for someone who isn't afraid of speed to enjoy it though. I have a friend whose DH bought her just the ride-along & she didn't enjoy it. My DH wouldn't like it because he is the type to never go over the speed limit. I guess opposites attract!

One thing I would like to do is get a spa treatment at one of the spas there. When I was 16 or 18 I would have LOVED this! I'd also like to try the Illumniations fireworks cruise but know nothing about it. Have you been to any of the other Orlando area attractions? We loved Universal Studios and the Orlando mall is awesome, which I'm sure 16 and 18 y/o would love

Sorry....no tips...b/c we are going for the first time in June. But I saw that you mentioned something about free dining......are they offering free dining plans?

The current free dining promo is for 8/28-9/24 travel dates. Free quick service dining at valus and free regular dining at mods and deluxes. There's other posts on the other boards that describe the current promo in detail.

Have you done the water parks? For years I skipped these and went to Blizzard Beach for something different last year - loved it. This year going to Typhoon Lagoon.
