Been away too long, need help!

It has been a while since we have posted here, although still lurk quite a bit.

We are going "home" next week to VWL, and are trying to determine which ticket to buy, we usually get annual passes, but are going earlier this year than normal, (I was supposed to run the half mary, but hurt my hip, so I'm not running) and aren't sure if it is worth it to get the AP this year.

Anyway, mw DW thinks that we get Florida resident rates on the AP for being DVC members, and I think she is usually right!

Can anyone confirm this for me?

DVC members do not get the Fla residents rate on AP's, but there is a DVC discount fro APs.

You can now purchase AP's (with the DVC Member discount) on the Member website.

Since you are going next week, my advice is to buy the DVC discounted AP on site. All you'll need is your photo ID and your Blue membership card.

FWIW, I don't think there is time to buy online an have the voucher shipped to you. You could probably utilize the will call option, but buying online isn't going to save you much time. You'll still have to go to Guest Services and shoe your Blue membership card and a phot ID to get the actual pass.

Not good! That blue card gets you lots of discounts. You'll have to call MS to get a "permanent " card re issued, but that may take a while. I'm pretty sure you can go over to the DVC Sales office at SSR and get a temporary one.

Sorry, I have the member card, I was referring to the post card with the id and pin to access the member website, a quick call to MS took care of that, so now I have access to the member site.

We are going to just buy the AP's down there, glad to see the discount was significant!
