Okay, this is the situation. We have 10 month old twins who are fantastic night time sleepers at home (thank goodness). We give them their last bottle of the day and then just lay them in their cribs and they go right to dreamland. I am getting very worried about the night time routine at WDW. Any tips would be appreciated!!

I would do the same thing as you normally do. When we took our daughter, we also took one of her normal crib sets to make her comfy. They have the same smell and look of home and I think that helped her adjust perfectly!

If you can find enough things to rent (I think they have a minimum), you might consider renting one of the box fans from ABBF -- white noise always helps my two . . . I suppose you could always buy one down there somewhere if you'll have a car.

I totally agree! .
me too! and may I add that you are soo lucky.. my 16 month old still doesnt sleep through the night--wakes probably 4-5 times a night, screaming  I hope he's better at it by our trip- I'll feel bad for the people in the next rooms!

Great tip!!! They do sleep with a sound machine set at "white noise" here at home. I think I will just pack it in the suitcase...didn't even think of doing this until I read your post:sad2: I am so paranoid about not packing everything I need for the babies that I've developed this mental block!!

Mommytomy3--I feel the same way about the people in the next room.....those poor people that have to be next to a room with twin babies:eek: Let's just hope they sleep with sound machines, too!!

Keep to the schedule, keep to the routine. We first took DD to disney when she was 5 months old (she's now 3 1/2) and we have always kept to her schedule when we have been at Disney - that includes naps and bedtime rituals. We've had to miss some of the stuff in the evening (this includes Spectro) that we would have liked to have seen but it's been a blessing. I'd say do what you always do. Also, we use white noise at home to get DD to sleep and we brought a little air purifier for the trip that makes the same type of noise. It was useful when we were at the hotel because sometimes the hallway noise would have woken her up.

I agree w/ everyone - stick with the same routine etc. I have a 14 month old and I am planning on bringing the sound machine and everything that is in her crib that she is used to -sheet, her blankie, stuffed animals. I will do the same bedtime routine - bath, dress in pjs, books, music and hopefully it will be as close as possible to her norm!!

I know how you feel - I have a GREAT sleeper at home but not always in unfamilar places. Hoping it doesn't mess up our trip!

Good luck and have a great time.

Good luck:thumbsup2 Please let us know how your baby girl does. Have a great trip..I'm sure you will. I can't wait to see Disney through the eyes of our 14 month olds!!

My 12 yr old still sleeps with his sound machine! So we will also be packing it, it also helps drowned out, outside noise(staying in value resort!)
Good luck
