Beds in Studios

We stayed in two studios in December. Both rooms had a full bed and full sleeper couch. DVCs website shows they have queens. Are queen beds in Disney not standard size or is their website wrong?

All DVC studios have at least 1 real queen bed, OKW has 2 real queen beds. The other have a mix, several have 1 Q bed + 1 q sofa bed, some have 1 Q bed + 1 double sofa, and to that mix several have a murphy type bed, smaller than a standard twin size. No DVC studio have only a double bed and a sofa bed.

They are queens. No DVC studio has a full bed. Do you have a king at home? It makes queens seem more like full beds and full beds like twin beds. We do have full beds in my house and what is in the DVC studios is not a full size bed.

I agree with KAT4DISNEY that the studio beds are all queen beds. They are exactly the same size we have at home. We also have a double bed in the guest room and there is no way those beds are doubles. We slept in a double while on the road and was surprised how roomy the queen was instead. You also cannot compare the queen beds on the cruise ships to true queen beds. Keep in mind the queen beds on a cruise are two cruise twins which are oversized bunk beds, pushed together. So they are wider than a normal queen. Only a king bed is the equivalent to two twin beds pushed together.
