Hi everybody!
My Mom has a lot of back and joint pain. She usually travels with a foam piece to put on top of the mattress because a hard mattress is really terrible for her joints. We are staying at PO-FQ (in 5 days Woo HOo!!) and I was curious how the beds are there. SHould she bring the foam piece or are the beds fairly soft?

Thanks!

Hard to say. We just stayed there in Nov. and our bed was very comfortable. I don't think I would call it soft though. All of the rooms were recently rehabbed, so I would tend to think the beds would be firmer as opposed to softer at this point.

I stayed there this year after the rehab as well and I thought the mattress was firm. Which is good for me, but doesn't sound as though it would be good for your Mom. Bring the foam just to be on the safe side.
Have fun!

The matresses are definately firm but comfortable.

You could send it down now so it is waiting for you when you get there, just have it sent to your hotel. This way you don't have to lug it with you and worry about it at the airport and such...assuming you are flying.

I just stay at the POFQ because a need a very firm mattress due to my back problems so I know they are Firm. But if your Mom need the mattress soft their not.. Hope this helps.
