bedrails at Value resorts?

Hi everyone . I asked this same question on the resorts board and 2 nice people answered, but they hadn't stayed at the value resorts. I just discovered this thread (Yeah ) and was hoping maybe someone who had stayed in one of the All Stars knew. Also, if they do have them, how do I request one? TIA!

PS We leave for ASMo in 10 days, so any help is really appreciated!

we're staying at the WL- and I just put in a request for them when I made my reservation. I would just call them and ask!

we are staying at all stars next week and I requsted one when I made our reservations.

You can ask for one when you check in or just call housekeeping when you get in your room.

The only reason you wouldn't get one is if they are all in use and there is no charge for these either.

We asked for one in our ressies when we stayed at AS Sports last January. When we checked in we reminded them again. Got to the room and nothing. That night we had to call housekeeping and they finally delivered one. Quite honestly, the one we got was pretty gross and dirty. Since DS, 3 at the time, is very active, awake or asleep, we used it but covered it with some towels so he wouldn't touch it.

We've stayed at All Stars but never requested a bedrail - we did request a pack and play and it was in the room. We're going back to Disney in May (staying at WL) but we won't be requesting bedrails. Sorry I wasn't as helpful as the others, but our pack and play was nice.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I just called my travel agent (who is really none too interested in our budget trip ) and asked her to request them.

Stimpy, it's funny because after I posted, it occurred to me that even if they did have them, they might not be in the best shape. I think the towels are a good idea. Anyone else had really gross ones? We may rethink and just borrow some to take if others have had problems as well.

We requested two bedrails when we made our reservation for our All Star Sports stay last July. The rails were brought up with our luggage very soon after we checked in. They were the very same Safety 1st expandable mesh rails we use at home--a very pleasant surprise. One appeared to be brand-new. The other was older (the colors were faded and the mesh not bright white anymore) but was in perfect working condition and I didn't think about putting towels over it, though that's a good idea.
The beds are indeed very high and we were glad to have the rails!

What about the Carribean Beach Resort? Do they have them? I never even knew about these being available.

Are there any other kinds of baby/childrens equipment that the WDW hotels offer?

I'm almost postive they offer bedrails and Pack N Plays at all the resorts subject to availablity. If you are going at a busy time of year, make sure you have it noted on your reservation if you need them. We usually go in the off season and have had no problem requesting them after checking in.

My travel agent finally called back and said that we will get the bedrails just to remind them when we get there - just wish I could believe she actually called and set it up .

Mom of 5, I'm not sure about the other resorts, but I would bet if even lowly All Stars resorts have them, every other resort does too . Good luck!

We have stayed at both ASMo and CBR and requested and received bed rails at both. They were in fine condition and served their purpose nicely for us. We requested them prior to leaving home and they were noted on our reservations when we arrived both times. They were not in our rooms when we got there, but we went walking/exploring for a little while and they were there when we got back. No problems!
